Fans of willfully abrasive electronic experimentalism will get a kick out of this debut album by the Philadelphia-based Codec Scovill collective, which is also the debut release from their label, Nonresponse. The music isn't abrasive in the sense of being necessarily unpleasant, but rather in its textures, which tend to be grainy and harsh without being especially loud or overbearing. Album 2001 11 Songs. Clinical Imperfections - Single. Codec Scovill. Electronic most ambient music, Clinical Imperfections doesn't change much. There are lots of long tones here. They start out quiet and they build. If there's one fault to be found with Clinical Imperfections, it's that bands like Nurse with Wound and SPK have covered similar territory to better effect. Still, Clinical Imperfections is well-executed: ambient music twisted into something alarming by the right interjection at the right moment. Clinical Imperfections. Release Date 2001-11-16. The Scoville scale is a measurement of the pungency spiciness or heat of chili peppers, as recorded in Scoville Heat Units SHU, based on the concentration of capsaicinoids, among which capsaicin is the predominant component. The scale is named after its creator, American pharmacist Wilbur Scoville, whose 1912 method is known as the Scoville organoleptic test. The Scoville organoleptic test is the most practical method for estimating SHU and is a subjective assessment derived from the

If you love Loess sound, then you will also enjoy this Album they produced, This is their dark side, most of the musics here are dark, at same time it has hypnotizing, relaxing and emotional musics. Listening to this is like traveling back in time to medieval times and explore the North European world. "North Parade" is my favorite track. the music itself act as a drug. "Tandem sling" is a melodic music that has much of Loess style. A escapade to the hoods.

Pretty creepy album. Long haunting drones are used throughout this 60 minutes of music. The overall feel and theme to the album seems to focus on some torn down old building on a cloudy day. Perhaps these are the songs that would play in such a rusted place. Fans of minimal creepy ambience will be able to appreciate the work done on here. track 2, Hohner, stands out for being particularly scary.
