Believe Music от лица компании PolyEast Records Kobalt Music Publishing, Sony ATV Publishing, UMPG Publishing, UMPI, EMI Music Publishing, SOLAR Music is a rock band from Manila, Philippines. They were formed in 1996 originally as a rap metal act, significantly being compared with is a Filipino heavy metal band. They were formed in 1997, originally as a nu metal act, with their early musical style compared to that of Korn. They have since shifted towards a metalcore style. The group has released six albums and been met with sustained commercial success in the Philippines, particularly with their third album, Project 11-41. They were nominated for Band of the Year at the NU107 Rock Awards in 2001 and 2002, and in 2003 were nominated for Best Artist by MTV Asia. Bassist Lee Nadela was also named Bassist of the Year at the 2001 NU107 Rock Awards. Rock 2002. On 2002's Project 11-41, Slapshock still works within the rap-metal genre, but takes an amazing change of direction. Where the band's past two albums were centered on harsh vocals and a menacing sound, Project 11-41 incorporates far more melody than before, and the music is far more accessible. The Pantera-like growling that dominated the first two albums is kept to a minimum, and the band's vocalists sound more appealing in both the rapping and singing. Project 11-41 is one of the Philippines' most ambitious, most accomplished efforts, and it almost seems a shame that anything less than positive is said at all. Released 2002.
